WHAT IS THE LEADERSHAPE INSTITUTE?

The LeaderShape Institute is a six-day experience that offers you a unique opportunity to develop a healthy disregard for the impossible. We are talking about getting out of your comfort zone and becoming the tipping point that changes everything. It can help you shape the way you look at the world and the way you influence positive change in it. The LeaderShape Institute  is about building leaders interested in creating a just, caring and thriving world.

Looking to attend the LeaderShape Institute in 2018? Applications usually open in February each year.

WHERE & WHEN

Trinity Pines Camp cabinThis year’s session will be held at the Living Waters Ranch in Challis, Idaho. Accommodations include spacious cabins (easy access to bathrooms and showers) with comfortable bunk beds, all set in a serene outdoor setting. This year’s dates are Monday, May 7- Saturday, May 12, 2018.

COST TO ATTEND

Believe it or not, it’s absolutely free! All full-time Boise State undergraduate and graduate students can apply. Each session is limited to about 60 participants.

HOW ARE STUDENTS CHOSEN TO PARTICIPATE?

Photo of a group of studentsStudents are selected based on their answers to the questions on the application. A team of staff members reviews the applications, which do not include any names, and then assembles a group of 60-70 participants. All other applicants are placed on a waiting list and contacted as needed.

WHAT ABOUT FOOD & WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Students and staff eating foodEnjoy three delicious meals each day, along with refreshments to help keep you going. If you have a food allergy or restrictive diet, then mention it on your application. The LeaderShape Institute staff will be happy to work with you and the camp staff to plan proper meals.
