Finals Relief

April 30 – May 4. Study, Recharge, and Celebrate your way through finals week.
The Student Involvement and Leadership Center, Student Union, Health Services, ASBSU, Aramark, Advising and Academic Enhancement, Albertsons Library and other campus partners are here to support you with programs and services this semester.

Sunday 4/30, 9-11pm, Student Union Dining Area
Start your finals week off right at the Late Night Breakfast with free pancakes, stress relieving chair massages, games, and prizes.  All students with a valid Boise State ID will receive a late night meal (while supplies last) to keep you going on the Sunday before Finals Week begins.


Library Hours
Open 24 hours during dead week and 9am-midnight on Saturday, April 29
Open 24 hours during finals week, ending Thursday, May 4 at midnight

Writing Center
Open Monday through Thursday from 9am – 5pm and Friday 10am – 3pm during dead week and finals week.
Visit or call 426-1298 to schedule an appointment.

Study Stations
Open Friday, April 28 – Thursday, May 4 from 4 – 11:30pm
Student Union Building, Ah Fong and Alexander rooms
Each station offers a distraction free and quiet environment with plenty of power outlets.


Taco Tuesday
Student Union Building, Games Center
Tuesday, 4/25 5 -10pm
Take a break from studying, eat some free tacos, and enjoy a free round of billiards or bowling!

Corn Dogs on the Quad
Friday, 4/28 12pm – 1pm
Campus Recreation will be handing out free corn dogs in the Quad. Get one while they’re hot and supplies last!

Yoga on the Blue
Albertsons Stadium
Saturday, 4/29 10am
Recharge with this 1 hour yoga class, with some extra time for blue turf selfies. FREE with your campus ID, $10 for non-students. Kids are free.

Library Cram Snacks & Coffee
Albertsons Library
Sunday 4/30 – Thursday 5/4, 9pm, all floors of the Library
Power-up each night with snacks and coffee in the Library provided by ASBSU.

Free Massages
Monday 5/1– Thursday 5/4, 11am – 2pm
Sign up for a free 10-minute massage, recharge with a hot cocoa or coffee, and grab a snack to go. Does it get any better than that?

Puppy Love Therapy & Service Dog Program
Monday 5/1 – Thursday 5/4, 11am – 2pm
Get some puppy love from members of local therapy and service dog programs.
The dogs will be visiting the following Residence Hall and campus areas from 6-8pm during the week:

Tuesday 5/2 – Suites & Square Halls

Zine Making
Tuesday 5/2, 3pm – 5pm
Come one, come all to this free workshop hosted by the Gender Studies Program! Zines can contain rants, reviews, interviews, doodles, poems, photos, essays, sketches, short stories, illustrations, random thoughts, fashion patterns, life tips, and anything else you can think of. Magazines, paper, glue, binding materials, and pens are provided. Feel free to bring anything else you’d like to add to your zine!

Knitting for Stress Relief 
Monday 5/1 – Thursday 5/4, 12pm – 1pm
Are you a knitter? Want to share your love of knitting with others? Maybe you’re not a knitter, but inexplicably inherited a relative’s knitting stash. Want to learn to knit? Perfect, let’s yarn bomb the library and relieve some stress! EVERYONE is welcome! Drop-ins and ALL skill levels, supplies provided. Help add to the collaboratively knit piece hanging in the MakerLab. Want to knit on your own time? Borrow needles and yarn to keep the stress relief going all week, just return them before Friday of finals week!
